The National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency (NSRMEA) has embarked on a 3-week Capacity Building Training exercise for its technical staff. The training, which is meant to enhance their effectiveness and prepare the staff for future projects, is in line with the agency's overriding objective to support the country's quest for industrialisation by exploring for steel raw materials across the country.

We Are Working to Internalise Ministerial Performance Bond at NSRMEA - DG

Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency (NSRMEA), Mr Kola Ogunbiyi has revealed that the Performance Bond signed last March in the presence of the Hon. Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, the Minister of State, HE. Uba Maigari Ahmadu, and Permanent Secretary, Dr Mary Ogbe is set to be adopted and implemented within the internal ranks and departments of the agency.

NSRMEA DG Hails FG’s Commitment to Revive Steel Sector, Seeks Intervention for Obi-Lafia Coal Project

Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency (NSRMEA), Mr. Kolawole Michael Ogunbiyi has hailed the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the renewed attention accorded the country’s steel sector. The DG said apart from demerging the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development to create a full-fledged Ministry of Steel Development, the government has shown genuine concern for the development of the steel sector.

“We Are on Track to Deliver Igbokoda Silica Sand Project, Others” – DG

Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency, Mr Kolawole Ogunbiyi has reiterated the commitment of the agency to complete its ongoing Silica Sand, Bauxite, and Manganese exploration projects in line with stipulated schedules. The DG gave the assurance during a recent briefing at the agency’s headquarters in Kaduna, noting that some of the projects will be completed by the end of 2023.
